Just posted a question here, but am not understanding the answers.

According to the comments in that thread, each post is now limited fo 100 visible comments.

What method is being used to decide which 100 comments appear?

I submitted several to this thread:

The later comments are visible, while my reply to this comment, below- made earlier in the thread, posted before all the others, is not, even though it is visible in my comment history.

Nor is the comment where I quote that comment and query where it is.
