As someone who actually has long qt syndrome and has to avoid 290+ meds, its amazing how much attention plaquenil got for qt prolongation, when common drugs have the same side effect: benadryl for allergies, z pack for ear infections, omeprazole for gerd, zofran for nausea, prozac for depression, or even pseudoephedrine for your common cold/making meth.

Also, there are many medicines that prolong QT, just because the value increases slightly doesn't mean anything. 100s of millions of people have taken HCQ since 1955 with almost no adverse cardiac events. It's fake news!

Yep. Scam. You have to take massive doses to get Q T prolongation... far higher doses than would be used for Covid or any other treatment.

Yes a fraud. All competent people know it. They couldn't even find problems in a european study where they used 20 times the dose advised.
