I know this is not gonna be a popular topic to talk about, but please, here me out.

I had a heart transplant and immuno-suppressed. Currently dealing with post cellular rejection issues, and my immuno-therapy is making me very susceptible to the common cold and flu etc. and I don’t do so hot even with those minor illness.

I am afraid of getting Covid 19, just like I was of h1n1. But unlike the h1n1, I am very skeptical of the vaccine for Covid.

Is there any other pede like me who is going through something similar? Or have I psyched myself out? I don’t want to be reckless

Thanks for the help.

I had a heart transplant and immuno-suppressed.

Biotech-pede here (NOT medicine). here's the deal:

  • Do not get the COVID-19 disease

  • Do get the COVID vaccine

There are plenty of issues with the USA over-response, with government using covid to steal our liberties from us etc. There are philosophical debates to be had. There are LIBTARDS to condemn etc.

But it is very clear that, there is a real novel virus. In immuno-comprimised people, it can be a big deal. If you get the virus, and survive, then your body will develop antibodies against it, and you'll be immune etc. The vaccine lets you skip this entire process, and remove your personal risk.

The vaccine is just 1 component of the virus (it is NOT infectious, it can't replicate inside you, you can't spread it, it's not a virus--it's a viral spike protein only)... If the virus is a refrigerator, this is like just the door handle. It's enough for your immune system to learn to recognize and fight the virus (antibodies, immunity), but it will not result in the COVID-19 disease.

Pede, I'm as MAGA as they come, but it's not a bill gates microchip, it's an mRNA molecule that encodes the spike protein, and in ~90-95% of people, it makes them immune to COVID-19. It's a no brainer.

Hey, I don’t know who downvoted you, but you actually answered my question. Thank you.

I was honestly thinking it’s gonna be a bill gates micro chip, but bill gates did say he thinks he can reduce the population through vaccines, therefore my hesitation. If you trust the vaccine will be a true vaccine not a population control method then I’m all good.

So thanks for putting that at ease.
