DoJ has only said they are not satisfied with lethal injection as the only method. They didnt say they want firing squads.. its possible helicopter rides are also on the menu
What it actually says is that as of the current ruling, the method of execution can also include other means that are already adopted by the states where final sentencing was ruled for said execution. Other means are to be employed only when lethal injections are not available, or if the inmate himself is choosing a different method. This is just a typical leftist (lets strawman everything to the nth degree and make it look like Armageddon thing.)
