Gen. Flynn wasn't just pardoned, he was declared innocent (an Innocence Pardon). The difference from your garden-variety pardon is that he can now receive any level of security clearance.

I've not seen any material relating to Federal (Presidential) Pardons of innocence in my very brief research, but there are certainly such pardons for state crimes in Texas and North Carolina. That, and the Flynn tweet above, was the basis of my confidence in using the term.
We're not all lawyers here. Must we get wrapped up in being legally correct when we speak, in the same way that the left demanded we be politically correct for decades?

Thank you for that clarification of the specific "sub"-category of pardon which, honestly, I didn't know existed. I've been curious though since his pardon - wasn't Sidney Powell - prior to the USSR-level shitstorm of national FRAUD that is (and her role in same) - quite insistent that Flynn NOT be pardoned in order to subsequently seek redress in a court of law, whether criminal or civil? I know it's water under the bridge now (I think?) but, ultimately, would General Flynn at least have the legal opportunity to get a RECKONING from these demons that DESTROYED him, either criminally or sue them into OBLIVION? I genuinely am curious. It's obvious this patriot's been instrumental in the fight for this election but I hope he personally gets his chance at payback.
I'm certain Flynn can still seek redress in civil and criminal court. His persecutors' actions and words can still be looked at by a judge, and those actions did in fact cause some level of suffering/harm to Flynn before he received the pardon.. maybe even beyond the pardon when you consider loss of potential future income.. I'm not a lawyer, just using my layman's knowledge here.
