Because we need to fund all sorts of action on our side: lawsuits; pede bails (e.g. Kyle); campaigns for Lion Party candidates; etc.

Plus, Red Action is a good idea; Redacting Blue is a straight necessity.

Hell, if the branding was subtle on the donate page, it would probably get a decent number of contributions from lefties misreading ActBlue.

I'm currently making a crowdfunding platform with right wing attorneys, programmers. Security people, payment processors, and considering marketing heavily toward the left "at first". However, right wing causes are not going to be taken down. (That would buy us more time before attacks).... considering this, I think a plugin and alternate website link would be pretty easy

I absolutely love this. We need it.

Not trying to be an ass, but how are you handling the weak link: payment processors? If Visa et al won’t allow you to use their services, how are people going to be able to donate the money? They even stopped the Gab guy from having PERSONAL banking, right? (Or is this what you mean about marketing to left to avoid attacks?)

That’s the part that has always seemed like the ultimate problem. They can stop you or really hurt you simply by taking away the easy methods of payment acceptance. People will donate a buck if it’s as easy as Venmo. People won’t donate if they have to buy crypto to do it.
