Long rant incoming. i went to my sister's house yesterday. She has a dog that is very aggressive. It is aggressive because it's always afraid. Her husband comes home and we talk a bit. He is a lawyer, and super leftist. I could tell in his demeanor he was angry with me. We were taking about the damn paint on the walls. Paint color turned to "if I ever hear someone say Fag, I'll kill them." My nephew is gay. He is 23 years old and has never driven a car. That is unbelievable to me. Nephew stayed in his room the entire time I was there. He was so afraid of my presence he stayed in his room. I'm family!! My niece was shaking with fear and anger when she spoke to me. I asked her with true concern, "what is wrong, why are you angry?" She said she can't stand hateful people. I've done nothing to these people. I said I'm a christian, I love everyone. I might not agree with your world view, but i love you. Im a 22 year and 3 deployment army vet. But yet they see me, a fellow American, as the enemy. They mirror the dog. Irrational fear and anger. My presence alone made these people afraid. What has happened to this country? I felt more hated in my own family"s house then I ever did in Iraq.

I'm pretty sure Thanksgiving was cancelled in my family because they didn't want me there for the same reason. I have an idiot uncle that is less than a year older than me but is the dumbest coolaid drinking idiot on the planet. He likes to start shit with me and I just call him out. He's all Trump, this and Trump that, it s all his fault Sadly my parents are on his side. They all fear me. I come from a family of socialist union factory workers. I am the only one to break the hive mind and start my own business. They use me as a threat to their kids. If you don't tow the line I am gonna ship you up by your uncle......like it is punishment.
I called them for Thanksgiving. Didn't have the heart to tell them my 74 year old inlaws(my mother in law almost died last winter from pneumonia) were driving up to spend Thanksgiving with us and that their house is filled with Deer Hunters from other parts of the state and no one is sick. These are all republican Trump voters.
Yet I am the crazy one.

I think Thanksgiving was cancelled by Lefty Governors specifically to keep us from red pilling our families. It is the equivalent of "reading us the riot act" to keep us from gathering and comparing notes.
