It is an easy mistake to make. I have listened to 10 or 15 hours of these two talking together. It is not often that he says something that disparages something Trump says. But it does happen.
There is a certain level of "shameless self promotion" to the man. If he happens to agree with Trump on something, he will ride it as long and as hard as he can.
Also his legal opinion is just that. He can talk with other lawyers, have a deep understanding of the law, know the politics and powder room talk about lawyers and judges. Yet he can still hold a view that is just plain wrong or does not play out how he thinks it should.

Don't loose hope. Trump is a lot like Ozymandias in the Watchmen. He is having that battle with Nite Owl and Rorschach, they are trying to stop him from launching missiles. Oz states "I'm not a comic-book villain. Do you think I'd explain my masterstroke to you...if there were even the slightest possibility you could affect the outcome? I triggered it 35 minutes ago."
Any reader of The Donald saw what the Dems did in 2018. Voter harvesting, votes poring in for days after the election till the democrat won. State called for Newsome even when Cox was ahead and winning. Vote counts decreasing for the republicans and being added to the democrat. It all happened in 2018 on a smaller scale. Trump knew exactly what was going on. He has spent at least 2 years planning for the fox to be in the hen house.
Yes, the hen house door is shut. The farmer (Trump) is in there with the fox and all the hens. It's messy, but the outcome will be the same. The fox is going to get it. The deep state and dems have done to much. You can't manufacture 1.2 million ballots more than were returned and not get noticed. You can't have someone who is 170 years old requesting a mail-in ballot and then voting with it not be noticed.
Trump has something up his sleeve. He had a pretty good idea of what they would be doing. I am sure he has worked out what to do. It just takes time to work out. He is very smart and very patient. He beat 16 other republicans AND Hillary. He has put in more Federal judges by percentage of the judiciary of any President since Washington. While they are laughing at him saying Coveffee they don't report on an executive order going through.
Is he perfect? No. He is very very smart. Smarter than most of his enemies and if they believe their own press, they think him to be slightly below average. Keep hope fellow pede we still have 3 more weeks for this to work out.

What is it you expect these cases to do? Whatever it is, that's not how it works.
I expect cases to be heard, seen, and ruled upon fairly.
Before December 14th? Never going to happen. Right now the campaign is about creating enough doubt in the minds of the Electors.
With states like Michigan and Georgia, they are just steamrolling over the voters and they don’t give a damn.
