Even if the GEOTUS wins this battle. WE STILL ARE GOING TO NEED A NEW PARTY COME 2024.

22
Jaybone86 22 points ago +22 / -0

No we need to take over the Republican Party. See the success the communists/socialists have had making inroads in the dem party. Third parties have never been successful on the national level in this country.

AussieTrumpFan 6 points ago +6 / -0

I suppose you could look to your history to see how the Whigs worked out. Or perhaps how the Bull Moose Party worked.

More recently, look at how the establishment was finally able to suppress the Tea Partiers (thanks, Obama).

Personally, while I love the idea of a MAGA party, I think there is a better and stronger case to gut and rebuild the Republicans. The establishment is still too strong to allow the emergence of a viable third party and I don't think that there would be sufficient support voted in at the various levels to help keep it a viable voice for long enough to get traction.

E.g. if we got the Zodiac Killer to come along, we get a Senator, but what does it do to the overall weight of his voice? It effectively neutralises it. The same if we also got the Cocaine Turtle as well. Except, it means that he would lose all of his roles within the Senate and with it would go a lot of leverage that Trump a MAGA party would have. The only way to a viable outcome would be the complete transparent overnight replacement of the existing Republican infrastructure with MAGA ones. And, no matter how much we may want it, that isn't going to happen.

The Bull Moose party ended up handing the election to Woodrow Wilson.

7
gezn2inexile 7 points ago +7 / -0

And a lot less fight for ballot access too... In case you hadn't noticed there's a lot of BS getting any third party candidate on the ballot everywhere, you'd think it was a closed club or something...

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +3 / -2

You have to start at the community level all across the Nation. That’s why this IS the time to do it. Never before has a populist movement gained this much momentum. It just needs to be harnessed and channeled in the right direction. We start at the precinct level and work our way up. Then we put people on the ballots, because we then we will have the network and knowledge to be successful. Little by litttle all across the country we take it back on precinct at a time. YOU can make a difference if WE get together and make it happen.

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +6 / -5

Doing the easy thing is how we got here. Time to start thinking like Alpha males again!

12
Agreeable_Hamster 12 points ago +12 / -0

I don't disagree on that. But the only one who could move the voter base without splitting the vote from GOP to MAGA party would be Trump. If he does it, we're good. Otherwise we would need to be more careful to make that transition without giving the DNC full control of gov't.

2
Magaskook [S] 2 points ago +6 / -4

Bingo! Maybe it’s nots Gods plan for Trump to serve two terms, but to use Trump and outrage of a stolen election to form a legitimate third party. One free of the establishment corruption of the Uni-Party

8
theultimatesean 8 points ago +8 / -0

Everyone who is thinking this way: Are you on your local GOP committee? Have you run for office? Have you even volunteered for a campaign, or hosted a fundraiser for a candidate?

I have done all of those things, and can tell you it is the only way to get better people involved in politics. Throwing out all the infrastructure already in place with the GOP is self-defeating.

5
Agreeable_Hamster 5 points ago +5 / -0

agreed.

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +4 / -3

Yes. I know what it takes. I’m a former Democratic operative. My family was and still is very big in Pennsylvania Democratic Party politics. “ I know where the bodies are buried”. The last thing I did was help get a guy elected to Congress. 1995-6. I walked away from the party a year later I was so disgusted. He was a drunk then and probably still is now. Retired a millionaire and now has a sweet job with the State of Pa.

5

6

It's not that it's easier per se, it's that you'd be a fool to throw away the good with the bad. No, splitting from the GOP is not the answer.

Short term yes. Long term no. That’s our problem today. We want everything NOW and we want everything easy, clean and neat. This is the second Revolution not the second Civil War. We don’t just need balls and brute force. We need brains and a broad strategy. We have the numbers and we have the brains. All we need is the will to see it through.

17
Liberdade 17 points ago +17 / -0

Yet there are thousands of open precinct committeeman slots in the GOP nationwide. The only reason the GOP is as bad as it is, is because most people are unaware of this.

It's the quickest, fastest, and most efficient way to change the GOP. It's exactly what Obama did to the DNC. This is the way.

or abolish the party system altogether. No more union kickbacks to party members

1

Pede, I totally understand... But in practice, it is always much, much easier to redirect an existing organization than it is to build a new one from scratch.

  • The Dems have been redirecting organizations for a long time, and have been very successful at it.

  • We don't have the necessary skills and resources to build a new party from scratch.

  • And in the meanwhile, you end up splitting the vote.

And GEOTUS has been doing this; he's been showing us the possibilities.

So I think it's best to demand that the RINOs step down.

-1
Magaskook [S] -1 points ago +4 / -5

7
trumplandslide 7 points ago +7 / -0

I agree that Rinos and globalists and Neocons suck badly.

But I side with President Trump.

New party sounds good, but WHY do you think President Trump ran as Republican?

Trump is about results. It's a HUGE uphill battle to get a new party started.

It's much easier to replace many Rinos with MAGA Republicans.

WINNING matters. that's why President Trump is a Republican president

0
Magaskook [S] 0 points ago +3 / -3

I know why Trump had to run as a Republican. The Democrats would never allow an populist outsider to take over. They torpedoed Bernie two times. Trump used the Republican Party and when he writes his memoir, he will proudly say so. He knew the Republicans wouldn’t take him seriously at first and let him play along. Trump also knew the Republicans weren’t fighters and he just might have a real chance. Boom! He wins! The establishment never supported him. Sure they put their Judges on the bench, but how many supported MAGA and Trump when the chips were down? Very fucking few. Trump has played the game as best he could with the establishment Republicans and to his credit, history will show HIM to be the only honorable participant in the game.

The US needs to completely reform the voting process first. (or else any change attempts will be for nothing) In my very humble opinion.

4
jrgreen73 4 points ago +5 / -1

Mitch McConnell and the boys had a chance to do this several years ago. They declined the opportunity. It’s pretty obvious both parties prefer fixed elections wherein they divide the spoils amongst themselves.

4
Magaskook [S] 4 points ago +5 / -1

Establishment Uni-Party - One bird....two wings.

3
jrgreen73 3 points ago +3 / -0

3
Megadeth 3 points ago +3 / -0

If big time fraud is proven in court, and it will be, there won't be many members of congress that will vote against meaningful election reform. The crazies will. That's about it.

The Rs need to insure that they reform the system such that fraud is damn near impossible and those that try are punished harshly. I think that might be doable after everything is proven. The anger alone will force any squishy RINOs and Dems free of the wrath of Pelosi that remain to do the right thing.

3
Magaskook [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

The establishment R’s don’t give one fuck about reforming the system. Most of them are actually happier when they are in the opposition. The Country Club Republicans have taken advantage of the small man and woman like the Dems take advantage of jiggers and other minorities. Time to leave the Country Club, since all we are good for is cooking, cleaning, mowing the lawn and caddying their Golf bags.

2
Magaskook [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

They don’t care. It’s as plain as day. If they did they would have done something by now. We have a few Patriots standing up here and there, but the establishment is enjoying their recent victories from riding Trumps coattails and our hard work. All the while laughing at the us. Fuck them......we are better than them and we don’t need them, they needed us.

5
throwawaymd123 5 points ago +5 / -0

Can’t do it. We need 75 million people at least. The reality is that GOP are our closest allies but we aren’t them. That’s ok.

0
Magaskook [S] 0 points ago +3 / -3

Bullshit. We have numbers to start and then we will draw from the middle of both parties. We won’t be a third party. We will en up the dominant party. Might take a few election cycles and a lot of hard work to be sure, but it can be done. It’s happened before. It will happen again. History doesn’t often tee a ball up like this.........we need to fucking swing for our lives!

4
AlexWin1939 4 points ago +4 / -0

No. If we don’t win now, your vote will not be counted and never matter. And millions of illegals will be granted citizenship and be loyal to democrat party for life.

5
MAGAICIAN 5 points ago +6 / -1

I haven't given up 100% on the GOP yet. It will depend on what they do during Trump's second term.

They need to be aggressive, fast acting and principled from day one. We need national vote ID laws, in person voting and paper ballots. We need channel bundling to be outlawed and the BS legal protections from social media sites ended. Additionally, we need special prosecutors assigned and justice must be had in regards to Russia-Gate, 2020 election fraud, Joe and Hillary's crime syndicates.

All this is the absolute minimum they would have to do to get me to vote for them down the line.

The GOP is garbage, no doubt. However, lets see if they can redeem themselves.

2

Wasn’t the time. This was before internet, social media and the ability to share information, even when being censored, shadow banned and de platformed, the ability to share information, organize and communicate in real time now makes it feasible and possible. This is the time! We have the numbers. We have leader. We just have to put forth the effort, but it Will be done. Sooner or later it will be done. The question is, will you look at your Grandchildren someday and proudly tell them how Grandpa and Grandma helped save the country, or will you be apologizing for not doing something when you had the chance? Leaving it for our Grandchildren to fight the battle that should be fought today is NOT the American way. 🇺🇸

0
Scuffers 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yea, right idea's, but did not have the public behind him like Trump does.

The MAGA Party. Yes! .......which is actually the TEA Party under a different name.

Funny how the left can't identify the TEA Party unless it's specifically named. The ideas of the TEA Party are confounding to them.

So far, MAGA has never been accused by the left of being TEA Party.......hidden in plain sight. GENIUS!

3
Magaskook [S] 3 points ago +4 / -1

Deplorable_in_PA 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm not ready to give up on the GOP because we do have some very good senators and congressman and state govs. And I also worry that if we have a split party it would only help the dems.

Also, how would the MAGA party work in order to not have the same issues of the GOP? Would candidates have to sign a "purity pledge" to eliminate cucking out? What happens if an elected MAGA senator, say, takes a cuck position? Would he be "cancelled"? I think it would be far better to reform the GOP. And we have seen reform. Trump got the highest share of non-white voters since Nixon. Many swamp RINO's retired in 2018. We are seeing some awesome stepping up, PA Senate especially.

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

“ we have seen reform. “Trump got the highest”- yes and the establishment got to ride his coattails. Too bad for us suckers that the fix was in though and those guys and gals on our “team”, The ones who rode Trumps coattails to victory, well they don’t need us right now. They got what they wanted and they would be just as happy to see Trump and us gone. We can go back to them in two or four years and see what they might do for us. - in 2014-5 I started sending the alarm on the old refditt sub, that Fox was not our friend. That Fox was for fools. It took a long time and even still, there are many who will still toon in every night for more of the same. Tray Gowdy, Jason Chaefetz, Marco Rubio, etc. .You can fucking have them. All of them!

A different take: What if normal everyday Patriots stepped-up to run in every local and state election, especially those unopposed, as a Democrat? Take them out from the inside and totally eliminate them from office?

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

That’s not a different take. This is what I’m talking about. It has to start at the local grassroots level of it is to work. School Board. Council. Mayor. Sherif. County offices, etc, etc. . It can be done if we have the will to do it. We are a Republic not a Democracy. A Republican form of government REQUIRES the direct participation of an informed electorate. We won’t keep it......if we don’t work to keep it.

Magaskook [S] -1 points ago +1 / -2

Everything Trump worked for could and will be wiped out with executive orders from Biden. I’m talking long term strategy here. We have been stuck in this Uni-party establishment conundrum for decades and the powerful forces on both sides will always reject a populist movement. They might accept you at first and give you a “taste”, but you’ll never get power. WTF is it going to take for some people to see reality here. Trump is the most powerful man in the Universe or so he should be, but the corruption and criminal activity that has been used against him by the Democrats, the intelligence agencies, big tech, bid corporations and Rino Republicans has still gone without any consequences to the perpetrators. Look, I know when someone is pissing down my back and telling me it’s just rain. Don’t worry. Like I said here on other responses. It took a lot of you to wake up to Fox before you finally moved on. Some still haven’t and some never will. Same can be said of the Republican Party. You can hang out with them all you want, but they don’t respect you and they will never ever have your back when you need them.......like right now.

No, what we should be doing is whatever we can to sow division between the AOC/Sanders faction of the Dem party, and the Clinton/Biden faction. If Sleepy Joe alienates AOC & co, they will be ripe for manipulation.

The second a “social democrat party” or equivalent forms, they are both dead.

2

2

3
GoingCamaro 3 points ago +4 / -1

It would be better to reclaim the Republican party. That's what Trump is trying to do. If he had ran as an I he would have lost. Unless the Pubs are dismantled, it won't change anything. Look how well running third party has been for the Lolberts.

2
Magaskook [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

Trump is mot trying to reclaim the party. Trump is a pragmatist and a deal maker that gets results . No way Trump had a path to his goal, the Oval Office without using a political party and it apparatus. He made the only choice he could and he USED the Republican Party as his vehicle to achieve his goal. That’s it. There is no Love between the establishment Republicans and Trump. Never was and never will be. Purely transactional at ever point along the way. If we do not prevail in this, it will not be because the Democrats cheated. Oh no my friends, it will be because the establishment Republicans stabbed Trump, me and you in the back.

So are former republicans allowed to join the Maga party? If so, what's the difference? If not, who will be allowed in this new party?

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

What kind of question is that? Of course Republicans could join. Anyone who is for MAGA could join. The difference is that the puppet masters who control the Establishment Republican Party are never going to give up control to a populist movement. They will placate us. They will send Tray Gowdy, etc. on Fox News to tell us what we want to hear. They will pretend to be our friends, but behind our backs they look down on us and betray us as soon as we serve to immediate purpose. We are the Republican Jiggers!

2
chewsoap 2 points ago +2 / -0

Many good people strongly identify as Republicans. Creating a third party will fracture our base and straight up replacement of the Republican party will piss off a lot of people loyal to the name.

The difference is that the puppet masters who control the Establishment Republican Party are never going to give up control to a populist movement.

EXACTLY. But who are the puppet masters? Can you identify them? If so, why not just kick them out of the Republican party? If not, how can you prevent them from infiltrating the brand new Maga party? You can't just ignore them and hope they go away, they need to be dealt with no matter what.

Are you familiar with the saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater?" There is a reason Trump ran under the Republican ticket and not as an independent.

We should be focusing our efforts on destroying the Democrat party, not the Republican.

I know full well why Trump USED the Republican Party to get elected and he will tell you all about it someday. I understand this will be difficult for lifelong Republicans. Loyalty is one of the top character traits that I would identify as MAGA, but you can’t and shouldn’t stay somewhere where you are not welcome, taken advantage of and “abused”. Time to move on to a better future. Some of us just need to buckle the fuck up and get down for the fight.

"or lose"

you lost me there. If we lose on the 20th then guess what? We go to war. You don't cheat like this and get away with it. No election will matter. Smaller states will pull out of the union immediately for that shit....specially since they plan to abolish the electoral college and stack SCOTUS. They've outed themselves as full-on enemis to our republic. There is no olive branching or negotiating with them. They need to go to jail for their provable crimes.

So they cheat to get in, then skew the checks and balances in their favor then delete the constitutional republican government, while censoring any dissent?? FUUUUUUUUUUUCK YOU!!!! WAR

Don’t get hung up on semantics. You took one word out of context and going all CNN. I’m not talking about losing. I’m still sure Trump will win. Not because of politics, but because of Divine Providence. I’m trying to start the conversation and inevitable movement towards breaking away from the establishment Republican Party.

How does one create a new party when we have to water the tree of liberty? This is what I mean. We win, we need to clean house. We lose? we need to "Clean house" if you know what I'm saying. A new party won't be the plan if we lose though. A new United States will be

Take out the lose part, winners don't lose. We aren't losing anything, we Win.

2
jrgreen73 2 points ago +3 / -1

This is sadly true. The scum, the Romneys, Eubios and, yes, the Grahams of the GOP constitute the majority of elected Republicans. Either the party is purged of globalists or we leave and start a new party.

2
iIndianaJones 2 points ago +3 / -1

No one here is looking to reform the Republican Party. We are looking to dismantle it.

2
Xanadoo 2 points ago +2 / -0

That won't work. That's the same type of shit the Libertarians say and they're nothing but a joke. It's either eliminate the Democrat Party, or re-create the Republican party. That's the only realistic options.

Magaskook [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

I don’t by the Libertarian thing. I know all about the Libertarians and I know how the establishment uses the Libertarians as an example of “why it can’t be done”. Libertarians are odd ducks by their nature and that’s why they never gain momentum. Their numbers are small and those types of people will always be on both sides of the fence no matter who builds the fence.

Why should WE have to abandon the party of Lincoln? Bring in the proffesionals and clean our fucking house!

0
Magaskook [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

Because the Party of Lincoln abandoned us. Wake up.! Look what is happening. God bless Pa. Senator Mastriano and the others, but where is the action from the establishment Republicans on this? They are in hiding and they are leaving Trump and we deplorable a alone time fight for ourselves. Loyalty only goes so far. I’m fucking Done!

2
Gold-Eyed-Cat 2 points ago +2 / -0

We agree on the situation. We only disagree on the fix. We have an iconic, stone manor, steeped in proud history, built by Lincoln. Every stone was laid with patriot blood. We tent this bitch and DROP BUG BOMBS ON IT TILL EVERY LAST RHINO ROACH IS DEAD. Then we paint and pick new drapes.

If we lose there is no reason to vote anymore. They will just cheat in every election. No point.

2
CaptainButthurt 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lot of obstacles to overcome besides just breaking away. Would need to break the FEC as well since they control how 3rd parties are excluded.

Nothing worth anything comes easy or cheap. All the more reason to seize this particular moment in time.

I AM happy to talk all about this AFTER Trump's Inauguration.

"It's Over?" No, it isn't. It is not over until Trump gets his hand on that bible again, and is sworn in.

Yes, we have a lot of work to do - but first thing is first. Great tto think about this stuff now, but not rest on the work we've done, until Biden concedes.

1
Magaskook [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I didn’t say the election was over. What I said, and most people understand, is that OUR, the MAGA movement with the Republican Party is over. I’m still 99.9 % sure Trump will put his hand on the Bible.

No no no !!! Too much donated $$$ will go to setting a duplicate system which has never gained traction in USA. If you think the R Party is lost, then you have no idea how many of these R Traitors are going to be calling their Lawyers pretty soon. True, a LOT of Rinos...but Trump has a memory unlike others. He will NOT forget!

1
redstampede 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think splitting the party can only hurt us. What we need to do is keep taking over the Republican Party from the bottom up, injecting new blood with MAGA energy. And we need to eject the RINOs by force.

Instead let the Pedocrats split along the corporatist-communist fault line. They're close already, so just give them a wedge.

Grimnir 1 point ago +1 / -0

The democrat party is finished. The Republican party is finished. So many of you dont understand the magnitude of this.
