To his credit, he did exactly what he said he would do. He plotted out all the active plot threads and closed them off one by one. Also, he bothered to actually go back and read all the books to get said plots, and characterizations of people. Finally, he wrapped everything up quickly, so he doesnt end up hijacking the series from its original author. The end result is that we get a conclusion, and quickly too.

I thought he did it over 3 books. I tried to read WoT when i was too young and before i enjoyed reading.
