Definitely. My in-laws handle trusts & see that kind of thing all the time. Unfortunately, it happens a lot & by the time most people realize what's happened, assets are spent, homes have been sold or mortgaged & the elderly family member has lost most of the assets they built up for their old age. It's a problem. I'm glad you saw the red flags too.
