Shit's wild man. Anon has been at war with them for some time. They ain't just gamers. Most of them are but the old school Goons pop up all over the place. Shit's wild man. I actually tried to look up some of the stuff I saw about them and it's not easy to find.
It's probably why the first few BlizzCons were pretty tense as they made us want to hate the other side in WoW because they were just that big of an asshole... like you see the other faction, you killed them and GTFO because if you didn't they'd call in friends and run your ass over.
I never hated hoard players. That just sounds like you played on a pvp server. Most MMO's don't have the right systems in place to keep gankers in check. You need to have a system in place where if people keep killing other players the guards attack them on sight. There should be consequences for random acts of violence.
They kept killing you due to a lack of game mechanics more then anything. I won't play a pvp server unless the game itself takes human nature into account.
