They accidentally found it back in late January..And started testing to confirm around then... Got my first scan scheduled but boom.. COVID shutdowns hit...DeWine shutdown hospitals for all none essential procedures... Since I wasn't fully diagnosed yet I had to wait until flipping August to get my testing to confirm. In the meantime I prepared to sue the state if I became terminal. They finally confirm..I go through all the pre-op crap... Finally get it scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday and had to get a test this last Tuesday... Of course it was positive... This is all bullshit... My prognosis is great... If they can go in and remove it... Fuck Covid... Fuck DeWine
Wow what state are you in? That’s fucked. I work at a hospital in the surgery department and they aren’t allowing any procedure that will require the patient to stay at the hospital unless the procedure is deemed necessary for the patients safety by the surgeon. So mostly total joints haven’t been scheduled anymore. We also operate on Covid positive patients and the surgical team just makes sure they have an N95 on during the procedure. Your state is fucked if they won’t take cancer out of your kidney and consider it an emergency. I’m in Colorado btw

Oh dear lord. That was heart-breaking.
Could you try to get surgery done in another state, out of curiosity?
They have tentatively scheduled my surgery for 12-15.... Doc's scheduler said he's trying to make sure they don't test me for it again
