What is REALLY savory is the crazy dumb Owners who allow if not approve if not encourage behavior that alienates their fans.
And what is particularly delicious is how folks have found, even when it came back, that, even beyond the politics, the actual games are pointless and maybe adults playing it are getting way too much money.
It IS sad that they are eviserating one of the avenues available out of the hood.
Zombie entertainment is part of the machine to keep us dumbed down. If we were to read and learn history for ourselves, and not what we were just told....there would be an awakening that would lead to a reckoning.
IT WAS ALWAYS WORTHLESS!!!! When I was a child a long time ago and read about ancient Greece and Sparta, the Spartans always honored their soldiers when they came home from war. In America during the 70s, we spit upon our soldiers and lauded sports figures who DID NOTHING for our country. I have always resented sports for this reason.
Football was always boring. Not as boring as basketball, mind you. What made it fun was the culture around it. Sweat in the afternoon heat and hanging out with people and beer and surprisingly terrible food that tastes good anyway because you're sweating so much your body is like "gimme salt now, motherfucker!"
Take that away and you're left with the game itself, which is really, really dull.
And full of people who are judging you despite that they wouldn't exist without you.

I still watch college football, but with no where near the enthusiasm as I use to. In fact I only look up from TDW when something big happens.
