I'm not sure what the word for it is. Sometimes people that do psychedelics change and don't consider relative likelihood in their thinking process.
You've probably seen the type. They'll fully believe that aliens are controlling the government, or something like that. They'll have good reasons and evidence that could point to a number of different things. Talk with them and you'll be left wondering why the heck they jumped to aliens.
It's like their brain is missing some internal feedback mechanism, weighted likelihood and/or inhibition functionality...
