My husband, my parents, my in laws and my best friend think I’m crazy when I tell them Trump will be inaugurated. And they are all Trump supporters. They say “you’re just being hopeful but it’s not going to happen so you have to accept that Biden won”
How do you all deal with the naysayers around you?
I expected it, comes from long experience.
I understand tho, I choose to be passive-aggressive. I don't seek to explain matters to 'them' without an invite but when they breach any reasonably related subject I do not hesitate to lay something down. They can either dispute it or accept it at that point, if they engage we escalate, they have all come to understand I will just build a case.
My Family actually tried a little Intervention on me last week, several who are Trump supporters and two leftist twits. Were saying that even if I am correct the courts will not overturn the counts, will not correct the media. They put forth the proposition that the corruptions are too deep, they accept the fake news even as they know it IS fake news. Want me to take down the Trump flags...
So I tell them - let your Faith be stronger than your fears. My Lovely Wife asked me what 'our' plans were if biden became POTUS, she fears a Revolution. I tried to lie, told her we had no such notions, and she called me a liar. She understands, but she thinks we are doomed to suffer ever increasing Evils until Christ returns. I've tried to explain to her that we may not know when that Time is but we can sure work to cull the Evil that Humans do while we wait.
You are not delusional, you would not still be standing against all that has come before now. Luckily for them you are there, they will need your strength.
I've always lived on the Gulf coast, we do a lot of hurricanes...KEK! I tell people who ride them out, afterwards you have to be strong, if you don't see a Leader BE that Leader. You are there, armed with the certain knowledge of what is Reality, for the purpose of helping those who need you. POTUS told us years ago this Storm was coming, it is here now and you are ready for it.
