I know a dude thats a vet. Can’t hold a job. Has many anger issues. Always complains about Trump and specifically latino trump supporters (he’s venezuelan funny enough). And I realized he’s the last person I’d want to be in a hole with. I came to the conclusion that he was mever in real combat because he doesn’t seem to have the slightest idea of whats going on outside of facebook.
Loadmasters don't land in countries with sophisticated anti-air defenses, Tell your friend he should of went SecFo in the Air Force if he wanted a chance to get shot at.
EOD pede here. Air Force. The Army didn’t have as many EOD techs as us so we had a huge presence in country. My time was spent wearing NOMEX ACUs with the 3/8 CAV, 82nd Airborne, and 10th Mountain at FOBS or in Baghdad (Paliwada, McHenry mainly). Many Air Force EOD guys saw combat and earned our Spurs and Arcams/Afcams.
I understand what it means to fire my weapon in anger, and then scrap up the bodies from IEDs during too many post blasts. I found my way to the bottom of a bottle after my first deployment. Went back to God during my second and have been blessed ever since. I still have problems, but I’m not drinking them away anymore. God bless my EOD brothers and my fellow vets.
You'd hate me, being a wussy Air Force comm troop, but I always acknowledged we needed blunt objects such as yourself to smack down the terrorists' doors. At least, the ones we didn't blow up 5000 miles away with a drone.
