Total deaths so far in 2020= 50,366

If we assume that is a proportional number of total deaths and project it out to the end of the year it projects that there will be 56,911 deaths in Washington state this year. That is a totally average number of deaths. We have entered a second lockdown and articles are being published with hysterical headlines like "4,200 new cases of Covid in Washington State in the last 2 days!"

Why are the same number of people dying this year as normally do if a pandemic is killing thousands of people?
