We probably have zero idea just how corrupt Washington truly has become. He probably sees so many "necessary evils" that Fox is the least of his concerns right now.
Here is a good way to look at it: Take any business in Washington, and you will find that it leads to someone in the upper government(that is just the tip of the iceberg).
If you want to push it further look at the crime there, and will find that a large portion at minimum is involved with the alphabets and some politicians.

Just because we want Trump to take down every single corrupt institution in a fell swoop, there’s still a ton of boomers that just don’t have more channels and won’t watch anything through a computer screen. Trump is a marketing genius, I may second guess some political moves he makes because he’s learning and human, but none of us will ever know better than him in marketing.
