That said, I think both of you have point. It isn't the same when fighting for your home and family instead of 2000 miles away in a foreign land.
That said, I do know (from speaking with vets) that war is hell and can really fuck you up, even if your cause is righteous.
This isn't something we should want, but we should be ready to go if needed.
