I've seen maybe 10 seconds of his stuff before from hot-linkage. Never invested the time. Some people were all like "Tim Pool's doing it!" and then now they're like, "Fuck Tim Pool!"
All's I know is he claims(ed) to be a liberal, but had some pro-...Trump?/Patriot ideas and then it's all like "Nah! Flush him down the shitter."
So, what happened again? Why am I glad I never paid attention?

Well a lot of it is dependent on one's own personal opinion of him. But I've been watching him for several years, and my conclusion is that he's pretty much exactly what he's been called and admitted he is. A milquetoast fencesitter. He's prone to agreeing with whatever the last thing that was put in front of him says. He reads an article that says Trump won, he'll say it's probably true. If he reads one ten minutes later that says he lost, he'll say that that's also probably true. In his defense, he's admitted that he really has no idea how things are going to happen with any number of political events/issues. He reads the articles, points out which part of it are probably valid, which parts are bullshit, and says he has no idea what will actually end up happening. He's never really presented himself as anything else, so at least he's honest about it. He voted for Trump and started pushing a lot more stories about how vile the Left is in the leadup to the election, so a lot on our side were thinking that the next natural step is for him to become full MAGA. But that was never going to happen. First because he's still personally a left leaner, though not full on Leftist, he just thinks the Left is insane now even if he agrees with many of the ideals they at least say they support, like socialized healthcare. But he personally thinks it's valuable for whatever reason to have two sides with some power opposing each other instead of one side gaining full power and support. Also, he's built a very valuable brand on being a fencesitter and being able to appeal at least somewhat to both sides without going full on one way or another and pissing off half of his viewers. Of course, there are some who are pissed at him for not going full on in support of one side or the other, so he lost them anyways. So after election night, those two things converged. He read stories that said Trump lost, and since that was right in front of him, he said it's probably true, and he is unwilling to fully pick one side or the other for the sake of maintaining his business and brand. Add them up and it looked an awful lot like he was just pretending to be MAGA the whole time. But that was a bit of projection on some of our parts. We wanted him to be full MAGA, and his support of Trump made it seem like he would have to end up being so, and when that didn't happen, a lot of people got mad. But he's never lied about where he stands. And personally, I think it's pretty valuable on its own to have someone outside the tent pointing normies at the entrance. I don't get mad at him for not stepping in the tent himself.

Tim’s gotta stay middle of the road. It’s his job, and he’s actually pretty decent at it. He’s not full MAGA but he’s probably influenced more people into the movement than anyone else because his audience is huge and relatively reasonable.
He should keep doing his thing. I don’t think he’s pushing people away from Trump.
He stabbed Alex Jones in the back and supported YouTube taking down one of his own videos.

He saw what the mainstream was doing and how profitable it was for them so did the exact same technique himself.
I think the key point OP needs to know is despite Pool's claims that the mainstream lie and push propaganda, he is now claiming there is no voter fraud and Biden's win is legitimate.
Maybe all of that is true, maybe some of it is, maybe none of it is. But I do know one thing is true. Tim Pool has created more Trump voters and brought more people into the MAGA camp than any single one of the rest of us.

The only people crying the things to you mentioned are people who tie worth to his worthless opinions. Again, you have been correct.
