I've seen a lot of optimism over here at .win, which is great: we need optimism to keep the Trump Train going, but we also need to be realistic. Trump CAN win, but to do so, he needs the whole GOP to man up, close ranks and fulfil their duty to the people who elected them. This will not happen if we remain silent and complacent.
As we've seen over the past few weeks, not every GOPer is a Mastriano. There are many Republicans in key positions that simply cannot be relied upon to stand behind Trump when it matters most. Victory depends upon whipping these unreliable elements into line within the next few weeks. This MUST happen, one way or another, and, while the party leadership can certainly influence results, it is ultimately the PUBLIC that they answer to.
Some Republicans (such as Mitt Romney and the Lincoln Project) may as well be members of the Democratic Party themselves; they have a commitment to the establishment, and thus we cannot persuade them to do the right thing. We CAN, however, inform others that they are liars and traitors whose word is not to be trusted under any circumstances.
Other Republicans are simply spineless careermen who will go whatever way the wind blows: members of state legislatures, Congresmen, Governors, they can be found at all levels of government. These men CAN be persuaded, but only if we can demonstrate that the Trump movement still has momentum. To accomplish this, every single one of them must be first identified, then targeted with campaigns from Trump supporters under their jurisdiction: this is where WE can have a substantive effect. I've seen a few specific figures mentioned already, but I suggest we create a stickied masterlist of names here on .win for us to contact; even a few hundred people sending strongly-worded messages to such figures will have an effect, let alone a few thousand.
But we must do more than simply contact them ourselves: we must encourage friends, family and strangers to do so. One method to accomplish the latter could be to put signs on your house, back garden or even lampposts saying something along the lines of "Don't let your vote be stolen! Write to XXX today about voter fraud to save our republic!". Remember, every voice counts.
I'll see you all on January 21st, at the start of Trump's second term.
