I have a feeling they'll start to try to get tax payers on the hook to pay for arena upgrades that boost the asset valuations, or maybe even get on a federal assitance program for their SJWness activism.
Yes, often true. But, I think they'd try to extort MORE money. Like some sports franchises had previously tax-funded stadiums have owners demand upgrades or they'll sell to some out of town owner who'd move.
