I used to be an intern. Doesnt matter. The way it works is they gather the messages and if there is an overwhelming amount they start to panic about their career and do something. I’ve seen it happen a number of times. Sometimes they listen sometimes they don’t. Sometimes I would listen and just tally the pro/against on an issue. Thats why we need to be clear and have PA pedes send emails.
Same. When I interned for a senator, we had to tally issues by quantity of phone calls on a specific issue. The issues brought up the most would then be sent to the senators direct team and that’s how they decide what topics to address. Complaining just to complain is ineffective but bringing up a specific issue gets a tally.
Bingo - so we need to get everyone calling and calling. When the voicemail box is full that is awesome. It means the interns (most likely) are emptying them tallying and then reporting back to AA who then will put on excel report etc
