They have no power, none of them have power

The people that actually have power in the FBI/CIA/DOJ are the swamp monster cunts that been there for decades, that's a lot of people not just one figure head sitting in his office all day doing nothing.

Those people are controlled by the DNC and get specific orders not to investigate or do shit that can hurt any democrats, they're also paid very handsomely to do so.

38
knightofday 38 points ago +41 / -3

People REALLY need to understand this. Swapping figureheads will do NOTHING, there are thousands of swamp creatures below them.

Lay them all off while restructuring. It's really not that hard.

YUP. THESE PLACES HAVE ORGINAZATION CHARTS WHICH ARE FILLED WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE LIFETIME JOBS PROVIDED THEY DO NOT SEXUALLY HARASS SOMONE OR THREATEN VIOLENCE. ALL THE WORK IN THESE PLACES IS PROCEDURAL. SO IF YOU HAVE JOHNNY LITTLEFLACIDDICK IN A SUPERVISORY POSITION WHO DECIDES THEY NEED TO GET POLITICAL THERE IS NOT MUCH THAT CAN BE DONE. BARR COULD GET INVOLVED BUT THEN THESE PEOPLE WOULD MIRE THE WORK IN 'RED TAPE' AND MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE.

The remedy for this is Barr get a copy of DOJ organisation employee chart and fire and replace all heads and deputies in ALL sub-departments with carefully vetted replacements.

32
MisterKag 32 points ago +32 / -0

The solution is to transfer them all.

To the new DOJ satellite office in deepest Northern Alaska. The one with three working phone lines. And one WalMart to serve them all.

I guarantee they will all resign first. No Civil Service discharge problem.

You don’t fire bad federal employees, you transfer them to oblivion.

So you’re saying Barr can’t do anything? I feel like you’re sticking up for Barr here.

17
DrCowboyPresident 17 points ago +19 / -2

You need to understand Civil Service law, which was passed explicitly to make most career bureaucrats unfireable by the President or anyone else, without a ridiculously long process that they have a ton of ways to get around.

The days of the spoils system, where the President could fire the entire Executive branch, are long gone. The bureaucracy took actual power long ago.

12
Forgotmyname 12 points ago +12 / -0

How did he get rid of Jeff sessions then?

13
IntrepidBurger 13 points ago +13 / -0

Because he's wrong about the heads of department, all of which serve at the pleasure of the executive. Trump cash fire them at any time.

4
DrCowboyPresident 4 points ago +4 / -0

I said most career bureaucrats, which doesn't include top political appointments.

Reading comprehension.

8
afro54 8 points ago +8 / -0

You need to understand that the law has been overruled!

The power to fire, rests with the president, again.

9
winsome 9 points ago +9 / -0

Correct--Executive Order made on October 21, 2020--they're fired! https://archive.fo/EUTmG

5
afro54 5 points ago +5 / -0

Good find!

4
kventure33 4 points ago +4 / -0

I actually think the DOJ has very limited abilities to inject themselves in a presidential election. This doesn't explain everything though.

13
darkhorsereddit3 13 points ago +13 / -0

It’s even better that he lets them sit there and do nothing. We have the servers. We have hunters laptop. We have proof that they have and have had access to this info for some time. We are past the point of firing. People are going to jail for treason.

4
TDS_Medic 4 points ago +4 / -0

gnostic357 41 points ago +42 / -1

Why doesn't he summon Mr. Barr to his office and tell him to do his job, and he can start by having trusted agents witness every witness that has signed an affidavit about election fraud and interference?

Sounds incompetent to say that one of your lieutenants is MIA.

I love Trump, but it's frustrating to see all the reports and evidence of fraud, and yet no special press conference from the FBI to assure us they're on top of this, the way they made a big deal out of telling us the Iranians pretended to be Proud Boys and sent fake emails to Democrats.

32
Zuko_Epic 32 points ago +33 / -1

Trump seems to be very hands off when dealing with the swamp, just an observation

10
kventure33 10 points ago +10 / -0

I agree! Any speculation as to why?

6
DrCowboyPresident 6 points ago +11 / -5

Civil Service law protects the career officials from getting fired.

This isn't 1850, the President can't fire everyone anymore. The spoils system is long gone.

9
GravityBounce1976 9 points ago +9 / -0

But he can reassign him to a post office in Alaska.

8
altaG12 8 points ago +8 / -0

Didn't he fire Comey?

8
dookiebot 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yes, but that was before 1850.

5
deleted 5 points ago +5 / -0

DrCowboyPresident 3 points ago +4 / -1

The spoils system flourished unchallenged in the United States from the 1820s until after the Civil War, at which time the system’s abuses prompted civil-service reforms designed to cut down the number of government posts filled by appointment and to award jobs on the basis of merit. The Pendleton Federal Civil Service Act of 1883 provided the initial basis for the adoption of the merit system in the recruitment of federal officials, and by the late 20th century merit systems had almost completely replaced the spoils system at the federal, state, and city levels of government.

Aside from 'merit' obviously being bullshit, it corrupted into the bureaucracy controlling itself, this is what happened.

deleted 6 points ago +6 / -0
1
DrCowboyPresident 1 point ago +2 / -1

It perfectly explains it. He can't fire them on whim anymore. He needs 'cause'. And they are protected by federal employee unions.

They took the power from the Presidency over most of the Executive.

1
ghost_of_aswartz 1 point ago +2 / -1

Maybe they're threatened to assassinate his daughter or wife if he screws with FBI/DOJ

1
doodaddy 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought he was avoiding direct involvement so the results would be more trustworthy to us normal people (and those not on the donald). If the FBI decides Comey is guilty of treason, then the President can say it is not his call.

37
colonial113 37 points ago +40 / -3

Don't know what to think.

A. All this is diversion and there is work going on in the background.

B. Trump miscalculated his trust, and the swamp is closing in from all sides.

I am praying for A. But Occam's razor would suggest B.

Yes. They have more important things to do than a rigged Presidential election.

Like harassing USPS whistleblowers, and thoroughly investigating garage door pulls.

They just ran out the clock, just like the Durham investigation. "Oh, it's coming out! It's gonna be swamp-draining!" Sat on it for two fucking years, specifically waited until after elections to "not seem political", and will wait for Biden to bury anything uncovered.

I knew something was up when Barr came out and said that he wasn't prosecuting anyone for the Flynn unmasking. And where the slap hell is the GD durham report. WTAF do these people get paid to do... If I don't delivery pizzas on time I get written up or fired. These sumbitches have way harder jobs. 🤬🤬🤬

11
top_eagle 11 points ago +11 / -0

Trump knows exactly where they are.

9
Nadlers_Belt 9 points ago +12 / -3

Last I saw, Barr was in South Dakota helping Noem figure out how to overturn the marijuana laws that were just voted in by the peasants and pheasant hunting.

Too bad he didn’t get Cheney-ed while hunting.

3
Nadlers_Belt 3 points ago +3 / -0

https://kelo.com/2020/11/20/is-attorney-general-barr-in-south-dakota/

Unconfirmed reports are that it was Barr who got off the plane and headed north out of the Capitol City, the same route and routine locals know to be a quick exit from Pierre to a private hunting preserve to the north in Potter County frequented by former Vice President Dick Cheney and many other top elected officials.
