Matthew McConaughey looking kind of based right now. Time will tell, but he’s been repeating a lot of Jordan Peterson lately.

Edit - found this short clip where he mentions his Christianity and JP: https://youtu.be/88Jn2eSaS1A

In the clip Matt mentions Peterson being back. JP’s return video was posted only three days before this Rogan interview was posted. Another pede said Matt gave a shout out to JP in his new book Greenlights.

Edit - another perspective, from 5 months ago. He mostly just listened in the interview. Agreement does require listening I guess. I agree with the Black dude about the compliment thing, not so much the other stuff. https://youtu.be/CwiY4i8xWIc

Same goes for NFL and other professional games sports.

I don’t care. I don’t care who we like and who we dont. It’s the same false dichotomy. We have been trapped for a century.

Stop giving them your money.

15
MartinLuther2 15 points ago +17 / -2

That's not enough. We have to take Hollywood down and stop them from poisoning the youth

5
elided_ego 5 points ago +6 / -1

The easiest way to do that is just to get everyone not to go.

It did. And it gave us an opportunity. Smart political activists find things that harm them and find opportunities. A boycott of the film industry over the next 3 years is an opportunity. We need to sell people on it. Don’t try to convince moderates or democrats. Find conservatives and tell them to participate in a principled boycott.

I don't advocate for piracy generally but at this point Hollywood has waged their own part in the war and I can't really feel bad when movies like Wonder Woman totally and utterly tank

I read somewhere that Michael Douglas said that all these Uber political actors are actually destroying the art itself. I thought it was a pretty intelligent thing to say. I couldn't agree more that when they open their stupid mouths that they are destroying any possibility of escape that somebody would get while watching the movie they act in. Instead of thinking the character that they're faking to be we all realize that they're just an insufferable political anti American asshat. One of the worst things about it is that they have done so well because of our great capitalistic society and yet they speak out against it.. it's truly moronic it doesn't make any sense at all to me. And so with that I have greatly defunded any of my Hollywood expenditures over the last period of time. There's just no escape besides not watching their garbage. With that said I did enjoy watching death wish with Bruce Willis recently.

There are some truly gentlemanly actors out there. They're just quiet as gentlemen are. Anthony Hopkins is a class act. Brian Cox is a Sir. John Rhys-Davies is an absolute treasure.

Michael Cain may or may not be secretly based, but he keeps to himself and has called out actors on their bs before.

Robert Downey Jr might be based. He's somehow managed to distance himself from the woke activism bs that many of the Avengers cast gets up to (and you should see him walk out of bs interviews with hack controversy monger British reporters). And he pretty aggressively came out in defense of Chris Pratt when the hollyweird mob went after him for not publicly endorsing Beijing Biden.

Speaking of Pratt, he's another self ascribed Christian and family man. So is Jeremy Renner (who even does construction in his spare time).

Kirstie Alley is based af. She just recently went on a twitter rampage against the woke hollyweird mob.

They're out there. You just don't hear from the much for reasons that are obvious.

14
shadows_of_the_mind 14 points ago +14 / -0

Ben Shapiro said he’s in close contact with a lot of Hollywood big names, and there’s many more conservatives in Hollywood than we’re led to believe, even some names that would come as a huge surprise to us. The sad story of Hollywood is the execs and top dogs are all hyper partisan leftists, and for these actors and actresses to have jobs, they have to play nice and often parrot what the execs tell them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood is actually more of a 60-40 split, leftist to conservative. The problem is, like in the corporate world, that you’ll be out of a job forever by being a dissenting voice.

How we go by changing that, I don’t know. The leftists are the elite. They have the power. We have none

8
princesspepe 8 points ago +8 / -0

i think the only way that will change is if more people start “coming out” as conservative and voicing their views regardless of “consequences”. i use the term “coming out” because every time a celeb comes out as gay or any other form of non-straight it’s celebrated as this huge act of heroic bravery but the real heroism is in standing up for this country and telling the truth. the more conservatism is normalized in popular culture the weaker the contrived illusion that it is nothing but a fringe cult of racists becomes. sadly popular culture rules society. if all the secretly conservative celebs organized a mass “coming out” moment and spoke the truth it might just shock the left into shutting the fuck up

RDJ is also friendly with Mel Gibson, and has been fairly outspoken in defense of Mel.

Back at a time when RDJ was in and out of rehab and was seen as too big of a risk to hire, Gibson took a chance and cast RDJ, fresh out of rehab, in "Air America."

The story is that Gibson took a special interest in keeping RDJ sober. Not just because he employed RDJ, but because Mel Gibson as a Christian believes in second chances, and would pray for RDJ's recovery. Mel would also just hang out with RDJ, playing cards, watching movies, whatever, to keep RDJ from getting bored and getting high.

So after being helped out by a conservative Christian when he was at a low point at his life, the whole, "Hey let's hate on white male Christians!", might not be to his liking.

5
TREECE 5 points ago +5 / -0

Came in here to say mostly this.. I also think Mark Wahlberg is secretly based. He goes to church regularly and said actors should stay out of politics. Kurt Russell just came out and said the same thing as well - he called Hollywood actors court jesters. I also heard Rob Schneider is based as well as Kevin James and maybe even David Spade.

The biggest cucks are Ron Perlman and that shitstain freak giant Dave Bautista.

The good leftist actors are insufferable to work with and the bad ones are terrible and insufferable too. It makes sense. The tribe picks the ones that are more vocal rather than by their abilities. That's why Brie Larson is still around and getting big roles.

No - The warrior takes back what is his.

Hollywood is a strong influence on America and the World...

Stop abandonning mentality and start RECLAIMING or even REPLACING. Don't give them one more inch.

Start creating a new industry people will be proud of.

Start from the ground up. Start buying out theaters, and bankrolling movies, and start streaming services...

You have the world at your feet. Its time for a revolution. Take it all back.

Enough of writing everything off, because of traitors.

"Eyes wide shut" is a movie about hollywood pedos. To see the hidden message, play two copies of the movie at the same time. Start one at the scene where Tom Cruise tears the dollar bill in half and start the other at the movie beginning.

Stanley didn't last long after making the movie.

2
Yeow 2 points ago +2 / -0

They edited this movie after he died and before it was released.

Controversial.

1
RedPillLegendMAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

I love stanley but eyes wide shut is NOT one of the stanley films i like. I think it’s actually atrocious lol

6
jetjetjet 6 points ago +6 / -0

It is atrocious if you watch it beginning to end. It is not a movie, it is a message.

1
Yeow 1 point ago +1 / -0

I've never heard this before. Very interesting. Can you give some hi-lites of what that results in?

2
jetjetjet 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's weird. You see a person playing a piano in one half, and in the other half Tom Cruise's character and his wife talk about it. The movie is clearly intended to be played this way.

I think the point of the film is that pedophilia is rampant in hollywood and they will go after you if you talk, but everybody knows.

1
Yeow 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fascinating! Thank you! Will check it out.

Wag The Dog: some have speculated Dustin Hoffman's character was based on Kubrick.

Then we have the whole 2001: A Space Odyssey / The Shining / Faked moon landing theories.

It goes like this:

Kubrick got money to do 2001 in exchange for making Faked moon landing.

  • Two theories on this: It was a back-up in case shit went wrong / We never never landed on the moon.

The Shining: encoded things about his guilt of doing this: Danny's Apollo shirt, door numbers, symbolism in Manager's office when Jack is getting the job.

It's all still a damn mystery.

I just got home from a week in Beverly Hills. The whole time there I think I saw one American flag on the streets. It was on a patriot’s car.

Yeow 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then you missed the Beverly Hills Freedom Rally.

Saturdays Santa Monica / Canon 3-6PM

1
joyinliberty 1 point ago +1 / -0

That’s wonderful! Yes I missed it, but the car I saw was on Saturday headed to it.

2
Yeow 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeay! Aw, we would have loved to have seen you there! :)

Except for a based few, most of Hollywood can go die in a hole.

3
NobodyLikesSplatter 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly. Fucking pretty retards who get paid an unreasonable amount for playing pretend and dress up. Fuck that.

5
jaaardstyck 5 points ago +6 / -1

I would care if Hollywood burned

Cuz I dunno if I could get out there fast enough with hot dogs and marshmallows.

5
Ragnar_Danneskjold 5 points ago +5 / -0

Absolutely agree, though I don't upvote "upvote if..." karma whoring posts as a matter of principle.

For the most part you can't participate in hollywood unless you are willing to kiss ass and be someone's toady. To include sexual favors. No one with any sense would take someone seriously who is willing to do that.

5
ElectricChad 5 points ago +6 / -1

Add Scott Baio, his brother Steven, Ricky Shroder, Kevin Sorbo, Tim Allen and William Shatner as based. Most others can suck it, don't care what they have to say.

DarkRiver 4 points ago +4 / -0

They are running around in Georgia. Georgia pedes President Trump needs the two Senate seats. Show up no boycott bs

2
Yeow 2 points ago +2 / -0

Didn't Hollywood boycott Georgia over anti-abortion?

And Georgia said, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out?

2
DarkRiver 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup I remember. They started a don't film in Georgia campaign...they reeeeeee then moved on to the next reeeeee

4
Palazzolo1 4 points ago +4 / -0

Worse than worthless, the debaucherous cesspool of immature reprobates in Hollywood are a detriment to the United States.

4
UnauthorizedCaranx 4 points ago +4 / -0

I would say Kristie Alley is pretty based. She is getting shadowbanned on twitter currently, people have said her twitter, apparently followers don’t see her post in their timeline.

Vince Vaughn got flack for shaking Trumps hand that one time. It’s hard to tell if he is a closet Trump fan. I know he is more conservative, less government, pro-rights.

2
MAGAgirl76 2 points ago +2 / -0

Vince Vaughn is libertarian. He has one hell of a hand shake. I met him 15 yrs ago after a Wild West Comedy show. Very funny guy.

Yeow 0 points ago +1 / -1

Shame Vince Vaugn's new movie is garbage.

Movies have sucked for a looooooong time now. I have FAR better uses for my time.

4

I do care what they do...they're sick fucks

4
ajoed3 4 points ago +4 / -0

I kind of think they're entertaining. Got a kick out of the Ricky Gervais golden globes. It's also strangely fun to hear critics rip woke movies, even when I don't watch any new films (except Ford vs. Ferrari, and it was on a plane). Oh the thread said "give a tiny fuck about what they're saying"... right, in that case, I don't give a tiny fuck.

4
NobodyLikesSplatter 4 points ago +4 / -0

I’ve rewatched the Ricky Gervais Golden Globes bit several times. I feel like he really was bitter toward the Hollywood elite. Really, really bitter. It felt good to watch.

4
FireannDireach 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ricky is bitter because he's a pompous hack who sucks without Stephen Merchant. Gervais thought he was gonna be the biggest star in Hollywood, but nobody wants to hire him, because...well, he sucks at acting, isn't very funny, yeah? - and he's notoriously a massive gaping asshole to work with.

With Stephen Merchant: The Office, Extras

Without Stephen Merchant: Derek

His new act is attacking the elites, because they want nothing to do with him, and the show needs ratings. Nobody really cares about the Golden Globes, awards shows are marketing. But whoa, Ricky Gervais is saying mean things, gotta watch!

UNPLUG YOUR MIND FROM HOLLYWOOD. None of it matters. These people only see you as walking dollar bills. Always have.

Can't we get some pedes who live in the Hollywood or Beverly Hills area to heckle these assholes whenever they see them on the streets? They may not be out and about much right now because of the COVID shutdowns, but they'll be back. I'm not saying they should get physical in any way or even get too close to them, but these Hollywood celebrities are so used to people worshiping them that it would be great to knock them down a peg or two (or ten) and make fun of them publicly at every opportunity.

Kurt Russell recognizes that he's the equivalent of a Court Jester and that he should keep his mouth shut and just dance for the people.

I wish more of them would take this approach

2
SoldierofKek 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm actually rooting for them to go bankrupt. Maybe we can start our own competitor to it. It doesn't have to be explicitly conservative or christian, that's where we often fuck up. It just has to be pro America and lack all the really toxic identity politics bullshit in hollywood. Just focus on making a great product and people will buy it.

2
Peacebears 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hey, Nashville has a thriving entertainment industry. Then there's Orlando too

1
SoldierofKek 1 point ago +1 / -0

For example. I've started listening to more and more country music. I didn't care for it growing up, now I love it because it's truly American music. It's grown on me and I won't be without it.

2
ItsFunToSay-M-A-G-A 2 points ago +2 / -0

Just in case you don't know, Travis Tritt is a patriot and vocal supporter of President Trump and America. He is country star who was popular from the 90s to mid 2000s, with a unique voice, a lot of great songs, and in his earlier days had one of the most righteous mullets ever.

Check out his twitter here:

https://twitter.com/travistritt

(Scroll down to 2 to 3 weeks ago around the election for some based commentary!)

There is a lot of fun country music from that era, before the "bro country" and "country rap" took over more recently.

2
MrJugsMcBulge 2 points ago +2 / -0

Two things turned me off country music:

  • Bo Burnham’s comedy song “Country Song (Panderin’)”. It’s funny, but then you listen to modern country songs and realize how many of them have lyrics that are just lists of ‘country’ tropes.

  • There’s a video on YouTube where an artist took six #1 country songs from different years and mashed them together to show that they were all basically the same song.

It's phony as hell and has become big business. Go look at how Huckabee was treated. Modern country is a joke and is cheerleader, poppy music about deeply closeted folks talking about driving tractors and trucks.

https://globalcocktails.com/mike-huckabee-resigns-country-music-awards-thanks-lgbt-community/

There's great music being made, but fuck the big industry side of things that keeps you from hearing those acts.

Well if you don't agree with them then they must satanic pedophile degenerate far left communist scum. Everyone knows that. What is this amateur hour?

Respect the opinion of people who actually see and have first hand knowledge of child sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse but look the other way to be able to take handfuls of cash from the same?

I think not.

Stay home, we are in this together!

We need to fight Hollywood on their grounds, not ignore it. We’ve run from media, we’ve run from Hollywood, we’ve run from Academia, shit we even tried to start a right wing echo chamber like Parler that nobody fucking uses. Fuck that, continue to infiltrate Twitter where the fight is. Where has this gotten us? We need to stop being pussies

1
Yeow 1 point ago +1 / -0

Read Parler's TOS. I stay far away from that site as possible.
