I kind of think they're entertaining. Got a kick out of the Ricky Gervais golden globes. It's also strangely fun to hear critics rip woke movies, even when I don't watch any new films (except Ford vs. Ferrari, and it was on a plane). I’ve rewatched the Ricky Gervais Golden Globes bit several times. I feel like he really was bitter toward the Hollywood elite. Really, really bitter. It felt good to watch.
Ricky is bitter because he's a pompous hack who sucks without Stephen Merchant. Gervais thought he was gonna be the biggest star in Hollywood, but nobody wants to hire him, because...well, he sucks at acting, isn't very funny, yeah? - and he's notoriously a massive gaping asshole to work with.
