It's basically the exact same strategies as classic "fortune tellers" and horoscope writers. Mix a few already known facts with a bunch of vagaries and platitudes and imply people will get what they want, and the readers go out and find meaning after the fact.

I got in a bit of an argument the other day when someone proposed, "what if 'Durham' never meant John Durham at all but is about the fact that Sidney Powell was born in Durham N.C.?" It's easy to be 100% accurate when you're allowed to retcon deep hidden meaning after the fact.

Some people are just so desperate to feel like they have secret knowledge that it doesn't even occur to them how horrible it would be if there really were some high up government agent leaking plans and leaving breadcrumbs all over the chans like they're playing an Augmented Reality Game with our future.

I saw that as well. It's a sure sign of being duped into a cult when you are forced to bend and twist reality to fit an insane narrative.
