AFAIK I can create a private LLC, then get a bank account for that LLC, then resister the domain with WHOIS privacy protection.
Some states will publish information on LLCs, including the registered address (which would likely just be your house) and your full name, so tread carefully. If you anticipate any payments, expect lots of KYC checks from any companies you deal with as well.
Social engineering could be used to unmask a completely anonymous person.
Personally I’d say fuck it and start it anyway. If your job would fire you for owning a conservative site, you should be looking for new jobs regardless
