IF the machines in question were connected to the internet at some point.....IF the military is/was running targeted forensic captures of these machines.....IF the “suspicious / defective” software in that condition was captured......IF the devices are then “updated / wiped”.........ITS A TRAP - THEN DOMINION CANT PLEAD IGNORANCE IN THEIR DEFENSE.
