Even if Trump got the DOJ back under his control, the FBI is powerful enough to go rogue and they could do little about it. Congress made the laws letting them exist and funds them, and only Congress can reign them in, and disband them.

We definitely need a new DOJ leadership. Throw out all the Bushites and Clintonites, put real patriots in there like Powell, then we'll see what can be done from there. Bill Barr is a good man, he gave a tremendous speech in Notre Dame University discussing the crumbling christian morals and the rising secularism that causes all kinds of social ills, but he's still a part of the old guard and he lacks the courage to challenge the status quo.
