I've injured my ankle before a few times even in my 20s with a fairly minor injury that didn't require a boot and I could barely walk and I actually used crutches for about a week because already had them at home. I find it hard to believe that he's waking around like this at his age with an ankle injury that requires a boot.
Still seems weird that at his age with a broken bone he's walking that well. I think most places would put him in a wheel chair just for liability reasons.
