My friend works at KDP (Kindle Publishing Direct) and was in a meeting last week led by David Becker from the Center for Election Innovation & Research. There were also a bunch of people from various left wing non profits in this meeting as well. The meeting centered around Amazon's corporate and social responsibility to stop the spread of "misinformation". One thing that was brought up in the meeting was placing a misinformation disclaimer on all books written by Conservatives. They also discussed making adjustments to their algorithms to reduce the visibility of "misinformation".

Here's a conversation I want in on. Seriously Bezos, WTF. What is he doing? He's making bajillions obviously, and he owns WAPO, but what else? That's all I know. He's got to be more nefarious but it seems to be hidden well or I'm just ignorant. Can anybody enlighten me? He smells like swamp.
Illegal wattage laser pointers and communism memorabilia is perfectly fine though.
Lol who cares. At this point conservatives look at things like that as a badge of honor.
“Oh amazon hates this? ::click:: Ordered.”
Well, that would be very nice of them. Then we would all know which books are worth buying, and leaving 5 star reviews full of redpills on. With reference links.
Could actually be helpful. As a rule of thumb if something has a disclaimer on it, chances are the material is credible and true.
Stop telling people what to do. We do not do CANCEL CULTURE here. That's lefties.
Are you aware of what cancel culture is? Cancel culture is the recent trend for people to 'cancel' (boycott, unfollow, attack) people over things they did in the past. Even though there could be cultural shifts, the person regrets what they did, and it's years in the past, people still get canceled.
Americans have freedom of choice. You don't need social approval or condemnation for you choices, especially on how to spend your money--that's liberal cuck style. Yet sometimes people show up here demanding we boycott this or that. That's also lefty.
It's not like they're forcing us to boycott Amazon and they'll never know if you don't. The demanding part is certainly annoying but I do think it's important to be informed if a company is doing some fishy stuff. However, I doubt the truth in that post and I think anyone who wanted to boycott Amazon already knows about Amazon's fishy behavior.
Great response! Yes, I appreciate it when people bring facts like that! But the delivery matters and the existing reputation does as well.
