You know, it's sad. I live in a country where election night results are counted on the night, and any fuckery is dealt with promptly (judges immediately get involved, and an audit and then recount ensues).
I'm standing here aghast (but not surprised) that judges would actually be political for something this serious, as opposed to running as Democrat/Republican in name. If this happened here, Parliament would vote (supermajority) to have the Governor-General remove the judge, as ours are non-partisan - our civil service is mandated by law to be neutral.
I'm not making out I'm superior, and I apologise if I am.
I wish our judges were elected to be honest, there are a few I would like to see gone for the decisions they have made.
