Yeah, no. The government demanded the immediate removal of the mines and told England to leave our waters. We were dragged into the war by England so that they could blockade Germany more effectively, we had literally no say in the matter. We didn't 'let them in', they picked a fight with Germany on our behalf. We were neutral until after German troops were already in our country.
I know people who lived under the occupation, too, as every single Norwegian does. It was obviously bad. That doesn't mean that the thing that provoked it wasn't England mining our waters without our permission and against our protest.
