Yeah, as someone smoked pot here and there back in college (I was a beer and cigs guy) I never really saw what the big deal was with pot. I thought it was overrated and just made you want to sit on the couch eating chips. But, some people loved it and that was ok with me. The medical pot and canabinoid oil is very interesting to me. Seems like the government and big pharma have tried really hard to supress any medical benefits to the oil. The oil is cheap and easy to get, which is why they hate it. Ive heard countless stories from people with PTSD, Cancer, you name it, who have been on pill cocktails pushed by big pharma that either fuck up your chemical balance mentally (see vet suicide rate) or create opiate addictions. When they give medical pot or the oil a try, they feel much better. The idea that narcotics are fine because a dr gives them to you, but hemp oil is the devil, just makes my head spin.
I already knew the other reasons this guy was a dick, including establishing the welfare state & selling off Poland to the Soviet Union under whose rule both sets of my grandparents & parents suffered before coming to this country legally only to vote for anti-socialist/commie Republicans (a karmic FU to FDR)... Jeez, the more I read about what FDR actually did, the closer I come to flat-out hating the guy. I try to keep my anger in check & avoid thinking in negative extremes (and am successful most of the time), but man... It's like everything points to his work being the source/catalyst of most of our societal problems today (and in my family's case, even our own personal hardships & struggles). By simply waiting for honest reactions from real friends and independent reviewers, you can decide for yourself which movies you may want to stream later.
