Please don’t use statistics incorrectly like that. It does not help our cause. Many of these “statistical” analyses are just shit attempts we should not be quoting. If you want to look at real hard data look at Matt braynard’s project. I work with heavy statistics all day as a quant trader and he was understood he need to directly contact people, not make statistical assumptions which cannot be proven false. One example of this is benford’s distribution. Outside of the fact that I’ve never even seen a chi-squared goodness of fit test(test to prove numbers follow a distribution), people do not understand how statistics actually affect that distribution and it’s inner working. I’m not dooming, here I just keep seeing people quote false statistics since I’ve been lurking here, and it’s frustrating. Again Braynard is the man to follow. Off the bat he called how to properly analyze this. So much so it’s the only project that got interest from the FBI.

The reason I say this is no one actually knew how many votes were coming in. All you saw were estimates from whoever I don’t know and then because they don’t tell you they’re estimates you take them to heart. It a major problem with communication in data heavy fields

No you absolutely do not need to be a professional to prove it. Being a professional may help make it more elaborate and eloquent but there's a thing called common sense that most people should have. As you said they had these estimates told to the media. Are you aware of why they only gave a wide range of estimates? It's because this year for the first time in recent history they decided no precinct data to be reported which is the most granular form of data . I wonder why that was? Do you think it's because the media KNEW they were going to cheat?
The reason I believe they withheld precinct data was to essentially expand the war chest of democrats due to them being able to pull votes from all over the different precincts after November 3 rather than doing it right on the spot. Instead of one person managing a small precinct of a couple thousands votes they would now be able to control an entire county which could have up to millions of votes. You already have multiple reports of ridiculous voter turnout that are impossible along with more votes than citizens in an area. You don't need to be a professional to go "hey that's actually not physically possible". You had cases of 97% reported rolling back to something like 92% reported. It's because they injected more fake ballots to add to precincts that may have had more to give. It was blatantly obvious cheating that you don't need to delve into deep statistics to know that it was statistically impossible. Keep in mind this shit was going on in numerous states so now you're looking at something that would be impossible to occur not only once but multiple times.

First off the states don’t report estimated turn out. The statisticians hired by the networks do. In terms of your question on why there was such a wide range, yes that makes sense from a statistical point of view. Depending on their confidence intervals and other statistics those ranges can be pretty large. Especially since we don’t know if voter turnout is Gaussian. If it is nonparametrics come into play which makes the range size even worse.
This is why I cautioned against arguments like this which are pinned as statistical when they’re not. Not to mention if they were they wouldn’t have actual statistical backing if you actually did the math. Hyperbole about physical impossibility doesn’t help either.
I hate to break it people but 99% percent don’t know enough statistics to actually analyze these type of things. Again you don’t have to be a professional but you need to understand the math and concepts. The whole reason the field exists is because people make statements like yours without any actual proof. Statistics show the election was stolen with 99% probability. Statistics can never prove, 100%, an event without follow on hard data. Even Braynard only sampled suspect votes. You can't contact several million voters without a large budget and a lot of time.
No there is a lot of other evidence that shows the election was stolen. Unfortunately no real statistical analysis has been performed here to do that. I don’t expect any statistical test to be 100% or even 99%, depending on the risk involved 95% is common. What I do expect is an actual statistical tests, expected values with variances and either parametric or nonparametric tests (wilcoxon rank sum for trend for example) depending on data. That is the absolute simplest and most basal requirement to claim anything statistical. Not some pretty lines and bullshit assumptions without the work to back it up. If you can show me that I will gladly admit I was wrong.
And I also don’t expect anyone to call millions it’s why I said braynard was doing it the right way. He wasn’t claiming statistical analysis, he only used non hypothesized analytics to narrow down the group to call. This is simple data analysis with leg work which is needed. Huh? While the Arizona projection was premature, especially considering the margin, the Virginia call was easy to make. It could have been made at 7:01 pm. Calling NC/PA would have been problematic, as the final margins have shown them to be very close races. And the networks did call Florida fairly early in the evening of Nov 3rd.

There is no legitimate reason for NVA to report later than the rest of the state, except the obvious reason, MASSIVE FRAUD. How is it poor rural counties with difficult logistics can find and count all their ballots in a short time of polls closing, yet the richest part of the state, with dense locals, and easy logistics needs over a day after the election to report results? They need the dead of night to manufacture ballots after knowing what the count in the rest of the state is.

I live in NOVA. There’s almost 3 million people living here, and the majority of voters voted by mail. Mail in ballots could not be counted until the polls closed at 7pm. And not unlike other states, it took some time to process mail in ballots. One county alone had 400k mail in ballots, and they got their count in by midnight. All in all, Virginia did a great job in running the election. As they usually do, because Virginia is a bad ass State when it comes to government. The roads get paved, kids get educated, and murderers either get the needle or get to sit in the lap of Mr. Sparky. I live in a sea of blue. Dems usually win 80% in local elections. Since even an Independent, much less a Republican doesn’t have a chance at winning an election where I live, I work the fringes of the Democrat’s hangouts here.
