I agree it's the case in America but from personal experience people in the UK are so oblivious to everything going on. I work in a fairly decent job where I imagine it takes a half-decent level of intelligence. I'm not saying I'm smart or anything, but the job requires some thinking. Despite that I'd say about 2% of the people there even have a clue what's going on. And I work with pretty much all "straight white males" who you would think would be on Trumps side. For the general population I imagine even less people are aware of what's going on.

I agree, Americans definitely have some fight in them compared to Brits. It just blows my mind that even though Brits voted for Brexit, most of us are still completely oblivious.
