Snowden is a CIA Spook who's roll was to start a war between alphabet agencies. He wasn't a whistleblower because he didn't have first hand knowledge of the info, he just stole it and released all of it. When asked about much if it, he didn't even know most of what he had, he just released it for maximum damage, then fled to Russia.
Assange deserves honorary US Citizenship along with his family. I can't believe they even have the ability to do this to someone.
If you look at the flights available to him, his landing in Russia was not accidental & Biden forcing every other door closed except for Russia was also not an accident...

The only reason current (you're in for life) employees of the CIA would start working anywhere else is for an operation.
that wasn't his first choice but the US revoked is passport in Hong Kong leaving him with limited options iirc. I believe he wanted to get to Ecuador.
