I have lived in rural areas my whole life. Most of that time, my mail was delivered by a private vehicle, owned by the postal carrier. Like many, many other people’s mail. Also, I think we all know that mail is carried on a variety if privately owned aircraft.
No, the messed up part is the bins just being in the bed open. Everyone I know who does contract delivery has to have a van, suv, pickup with bed cover. They are mostly newer rigs too. Not some 90’s Ranger.
