Just had 3 separate friends in a group text saying they were attempted to being signed up for credit cards tody and someone has their SS. They all bought guns recently at Cabelas. Can't 100% say that is source of data leak. They got notices from Life Lock. Figured there were probably other who might be in same situation buying from Cabelas. Just friendly heads up.

You don't need to put your SSN on a federal background check FYI unless you have a common name
They actually found it is a possible data breach that is going into Capital One. My friend stated Capitol One said they have had over 30 calls like this in last half hour!
