In the grand scheme of things, assuming the Republican ends up losing here, one House seat isn’t a catastrophe.

I do. However, I do think there are plenty of well meaning friends in here who still don't get it. After all, there are still some people watching FOX News in here. Not a lot, but some. I think with some people it takes a longer time to break old habits.
