It's not even if Trump wins or loses as much as it's the way in which the left wants to win. If Biden legitimately won, things would suck, millions of more illegals would pour over the borders, socialism would advance, but we could in theory recover. Winning via fraud though is putting us on the path to an Empire instead of a Republic. And just like in Rome, many will cheer it on because they think they're getting an Augustus and not a Caligula.
