Trump is holding out hope that if he supports the two Senate candidates in Georgia that they will support him in return in his bid for an audit of the Georgia election. It's horse trading.
Notice how Loeffler has been supportive of Trump as long as she thinks her seat is at risk and thinks she needs the support of his voters? As soon as Trump is no longer useful, Loeffler and Purdue will dump him. Kemp already won reelection by trading his state for it, so that's why he has come out against Trump publicly.
