Now I'm curious.

Earlier it seemed as though the path to victory was clear. Now? Not so much. By no means am I considering this a loss, but I have to wonder. What's the path to victory?

  • Has the WI recount ended? That was supposed to be today right? Is there any plans if it doesn't work out?
  • I see Lin Wood working his magic in Georgia to prevent the destruction of evidence.
  • Today's the last day for PA legislature to vote on that elector-choosing resolution, although it looks DOA. What's next?
  • I see some investigation is still under way in AZ, which is good.
  • Anything going on it VA?
  • Anything going on in MI?

We still need MI, VA, PA, GA, and AZ right? We need all five?

I want us all to win. I'm no doomer. That said, from where I stand a victory is starting to look unlikely. Anyone got any ideas about our path to victory? I'm more than willing to listen.

Court cases are still pending and ongoing. Certifying the election results is required before lawsuits can be filed for damages. Those cases will then be appealed to the Supreme Court, likely by both Democrats and Republicans.

The Supreme Court could potentially order changes to electoral votes even after December 14th.

Boy that's a hell of a wait. I guess we'll see. No letting up though. These bastards in the state legislatures need to hear every bit of the earache they deserve from their constituents.

Originally the path to victory was the courts or SCOTUS. But that doesn't look likely anymore. Even Trump said it.

Last option is faithless electors that will vote Trump. I never wanted it to come to this because it didn't work for Hillary and don't think it will work for us. Most of these Republican state legislators are spineless and only care about their cozy government job.

If they can send Trump electors then we can win. I think the only way to make that possible though is if we get over 100,000 people in the streets in those states to start protesting. Similar to the DC rally. The legislators need to see that people are pissed and not going to stand for this.

Didn't SCOTUS literally just rule this year that faithless electors are not allowed? I remember because this was supposed to be something that helped us once upon a time, but now it looks like it's going to hurt us, if that's really the plan.

So I think Plan B is still SCOTUS, although right now, I'm more concerned about Plan A.

That court case just permits states to fine faithless electors. It doesn't "force" electors to vote a certain way.

Thanks. That's super helpful. It also wouldn't reverse or invalidate the votes then, of faithless electors who voted for Trump.

Although more generally speaking, I hope we don't have to rely on faithless electors. There would have to be a lot of them.

You are correct. I wouldn't rely on faithless electors changing their votes. It is a long shot.

One can only hope they do the right thing and abstain at the very least. If 30% of Democrats believe Biden cheated, that's about 90 electors, which is more than enough to prevent Biden from winning the electoral college. Remember, if Biden doesn't get over 270, it goes to Congress.

I know that. I think it would be easier to pressure the electors to abstain than to vote for Trump.

I've been a lurker on here for quite awhile. I'm no doomer. Look at my other posts before posting this. Asking what's going on is not dooming.
