There's a sci-fi story called 'Little Brother' where justice is administered by an AI judge.

N the story, a man accused falsely of murder is being railroaded as all evidence of his innocence keeps getting tossed by the AI Judge. Eventually he demands a jury trial where people are brought in. The jury is so outraged by the evidence they begin yelling at the judge that it was an injustice and the accused should go free. The judge keeps trying to override the jury but keeps failing till the judge glitches out.

A technician comes in and corrects the glitch, an overload in his database due to the jury demands, by removing the jury input. So the judge reinitializes and finds the accused guilty and sentences him to death.

It's like one of those movies where the inmate fakes a heart attack, then gets dragged out to the hospital and escapes.

"Technicians from Dominion have been dispatched to resolve the issue"

Oh, great

Well I am glad someone knows how to get in touch with Dominion Technicians, their offices in Denver and Toronto seem to be empty and abandoned.

How about serving them a subpoena to answer some questions about how their systems work while they are in the neighborhood.
