Instead of seeking justice, they have become a firewall for protecting corruption.

They're digging their own graves at this point. Never interrupt the enemy when they're making a mistake.

Well, then I guess court cases don't have to be overseen by a sitting judge as long as one walks through the courtroom.

peterstrzoked 41 points ago +41 / -0

You mean as long as one is masturbating on the zoom call

21
Nameless_Mofo 21 points ago +21 / -0

Toobin has entered the chat zoom call

A major rule of doing calls like this is to at least wear pants the whole time.

4

NY 22 judge would flip votes himself.

WalkFastGoHome 59 points ago +59 / -0

I'm going to use the precedent at work.

"I didn't know I had to actually supervise those kids! I just though I had to merely be in the same room."

19
MikelovesTrump 19 points ago +19 / -0

In this case if you were in the same football stadium it would be enough.

16
Fenianlad 16 points ago +16 / -0

If there’s a leaky toilet on the other side of the stadium, work days over boys!!

then wtf is the point of having poll watchers in the first place?

33
JohnCocktoasten 33 points ago +34 / -1

Because when the law was written it was assumed the process could never be SO fucking corrupt as to play games with how poll watchers could be situated.

12
deleted 12 points ago +12 / -0
24
Shalomtoyou 24 points ago +24 / -0

Poll watchers don't actually have to be watching, huh?

Reminds me of Ben Shapiro's little quip.

"The Boy Scouts are for boys."

"Where is that written?"

"In the name 'The Boy Scouts.'"

24
yellowandrose 24 points ago +24 / -0

are they fucking nuts?

No, just evil.

Why not both?

1

Because it's deliberate.

24

In 2021 Trump should let the liberal press corps meaningfully observe his press conferences from outside the White House.

13
Cakes4077 13 points ago +13 / -0

Have the briefing room be divided in half with them on the other side of sound proof glass.

7
ProphetOfKek 7 points ago +7 / -0

Abilio has a first amendment right to be at a presser but we had a 5-4 split on SCOTUS about religious protections in the setting of a head cold. Corruption is everywhere.

17
GreenvillianSC 17 points ago +17 / -0

Yeah this is insane. With this much viable corruption i see this country reaching a boiling point soon

4
MAGA_4EVER 4 points ago +4 / -0

It has.

I truly believe the only "thing" keeping a lid it on it is Trump.

I don't think your average person on the left will revolt. Antifa is probably what they got.

But on the right... Lots are just waiting.

Scary times.

iIndianaJones 14 points ago +14 / -0

My state has the dumbest Supreme Court in the Union. Amazingly stupid.

3
CannonballJunior 3 points ago +3 / -0

Not stupid, just brazenly, brutally, morally corrupt.

2
DoIMAGAYouHornyBaby 2 points ago +2 / -0

Supreme Court Judges can be impeached. Seems like a golden opportunity for brazen politicians. Impeachment on grounds for corruption based upon ruling of stupidity (poll watchers not requiring the ability to watch).

12
tiredofwinning2020 12 points ago +12 / -0

Yeah this ruling was extremely egregious.

WTF is the point of a poll watcher if they can’t meaningfully watch the process??

"You just had to be there, not be able to see anything." Even Clowns aren't this ridiculous. We've passed through Clown World and ended up in a whole new dimension of insanity.

7
HedgehogFighter 7 points ago +7 / -0

And "meaningfully seeing" the process would be a bad thing how?

The court observed that Attorney Mercer’s testimony that he could not see individual markings on the secrecy envelopes, or determine whether the signature on all the ballot envelopes was properly completed, did not establish a violation of Section 3416.8, inasmuch as that statute “provides for no further specific activities for the watchers to observe, and no activities for the watchers to do other than simply ‘be present’.” The court opined that, under this section,“[w]atchers are not directed to audit ballots or to verify signatures, to verify voter address[es], or to do anything else that would require a watcher to see the writing or markings on the outside of either envelope, including challenging the ballots or ballot signatures.”

5
DX5_ 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'd like to know how the court defines "poll watcher", and further, what they believe the purpose of a poll watcher is.

4
Hussar 4 points ago +4 / -0

It becomes even more impossible to take claims of a "clean election" seriously when the left pulls things like this.

They've whined for years about how Trump must release his tax returns, even though they have no legal right to them, on the grounds that "if he has nothing to hide, he has nothing to worry about." Yet they will stop at absolutely nothing to ensure that the election and the recount efforts are compromised and kept in the dark as much as possible.

4
FattyWatt 4 points ago +4 / -0

Say WHAT?!

3
Build_the_Narwhal 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a long while.

3

Seems like something the Supreme Court will rule the other way on.

SCOTUS

2
thekindlyman555 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok so then it'd be fine to have a big gym for counting and then have the poll watchers behind a black curtain between them and the counters then?

Or have them in an L shaped room around the corner and out of sight of the counters but still technically in the same room?

Sure, I'm convinced that that's the spirit behind the poll watcher laws...

This country has been asleep at the wheel for far too long. We've been systematically infiltrated by communists at all levels. Judges are not seeking justice here, they are protecting corruption because it benefits their agenda.

Fucking criminals.

1

So what is the point of poll watchers then? This is so stupid because it literally means 0 oversight outside the election officers.

SCOTUS is, in fact, the next tier of appellate court above the PA supreme court.

1

This is what we would be facing if GEOTUS hadnt beaten Hillary.

So this is something I have no expertise in but I’m hoping someone else can explain this to me: how can the judges who backed this ruling be impeached?

And is there any precedent for such impeachments?

Please have a state trooper arrest this court for DUI’s. If they ask for proof, let them see it from a DISTANCE. Looks like you blew 3.
