I’ve seen federal lawsuits from major insurance companies suing doctors alleging that all the bills that the drs sent to the insurance company are fraudulent based on mathematical calculations... these calculations and statistical analysis alone are enough to carry the day in federal court. It happens all the time. Anyone who tells you that this analysis is not evidence is wrong. Granted I used to say that the calculations were nonsense cause my client was getting sued. But like it or not my client lost.
