The country club conservatives have always hated Trump.
Some pretended to support him because it was popular, but now that they think Trump is gone, they are going back to their roots. The same neo-conservative shilling of the likes of Romney/McStain/Bush.
Yes, he did. I don't necessarily believe much of what Rush says in general. But I have been watching the so called "conservatives" for several decades myself, and many of them aren't very consistent in their viewpoints. And they do have a habit of turning on people who actually manage to get things done. An odd group of people. The fact that anyone of any political leaning doesn't want to get to the bottom of this shit is highly suspect to me. Everyone, regardless of party, should want voter integrity. Unless of course they benefit from the lack of it.
W, like the other Bushes, was an idiot IMO. I was never a fan of any Bush. Ron Paul I find interesting, same with Rand. I don't blanket approve of them, but I agree with them far more often than I agree with some politicians.
I also liked the war, at first. Later I came to realize that you can't make tribal people take to democracy, so there was never anything to be gained.
TARP was nothing now, in retrospect. Hardly anything to get mad about when 2020 happened. The CRA was worth getting mad about. The covid hoax was worth getting mad about.
i dont think they get it that once trump is gone from politics the GOP never wins another election ever again. once the boomers are in the grave there isnt much support for the neocons and rinos . the maga movement is far away from the mainstream GOP cuckservatives
No, in the 2000s I think. It was the anti-war magazine after 9/11. It was super based at first—the home for anti-neocons. But it’s fallen a loooong way.
Goes anti-trump?? They’ve been anti-trump for four years those fucks. Dreher and Larison and driving that magazine into the ground. The sooner the better I say.
The great thing about Trump Republicans is that we think for ourselves...just because leftists are so amazingly retarded that they can't process information and then critically think about it doesn't mean we won't be sticking heads on pikes for attempting to subvert our Republic.
This was always why they went along with the steal. Luckily Trump supporters aren't falling for it. We can see the fraud with our own eyes and anyone who claims there wasn't any is no friend of ours nor will they ever be.
National Review is also on the list of "still-never-Trumpers". Shame, really. Buckley would be ashamed at how his legacy has become another voice in the echo chamber of globalism.

I never signed up for Romney/McStain/Bush candidates and I never will.
Information Warfare
They do if you hate America and her people.
Rush was talking about this sometime recently. About how all of these magazines and so called "conservative" groups would turn and some already had.
Just for the record, Rush Limbaugh also called Ron Paul a "kook" and said that George W Bush was a "true Conservative".
-an Elder pede who has been watching and taking notes on grifters in this game since the mid 1990's.

And he didn't like what Bush did.
He sure did while Bush was doing it.
He didn't like No Child Left Behind or the Medicare Rx coverage, though frankly, I wasn't listening much back then because I didn't have a commute.
He liked the war, didn't care about the Patriot Act ("it's one of those necessary evils") and argued for TARP.

They'll see the light after the obliteration of the Republican party and become born again Democrats.
Traitors
I have!
It's always been pretty good wat way way better than National Review
Used to be... back before they hired on Dreher and kicked out Buchanan.
Wait, these Magazines were never on our side? 🔫 they never were. 🤣🤣🤣
DUMP the american conservative ignore it....it will go away
Time to stop "conserving" what little integrity is left in this country and start reclaiming what has been lost.
Trump is the greatest President of all time. I don’t want to be called a conservative. I want to be called a Trump supporter.
These losers just don't want to be canceled.
It's time for Conservatives to Dump The American Conservative.
Does anyone actually read that shit? Magazines were a big deal up until the '90s.
I think this one was created in the 90s!
No, in the 2000s I think. It was the anti-war magazine after 9/11. It was super based at first—the home for anti-neocons. But it’s fallen a loooong way.

let's get this straight.
soros, or some other democrat, finds a way to blackmail, (or payoff) these news outlets.
just move on to the next source of pro-trump information, and never visit those news outlets again.
the internet is designed to be unkillable. there will always be pro-trump sites. find them.
This was always why they went along with the steal. Luckily Trump supporters aren't falling for it. We can see the fraud with our own eyes and anyone who claims there wasn't any is no friend of ours nor will they ever be.
I don't even know what that magazine is, so I don't feel betrayed :)

AmCon is not STILL #NeverTrump it is NEWLY #NeverTrump scum
They call it the uniparty because some Republicans and Conservatives are on the take, too.

Um, has anyone actually read the article?
That text and the headline dont match.
Is this more tongue in cheek or are they trolling?
Can someone post the archive version here?
We might all be shitting on American Conservative but they might be actually supporting Trump here
I read it. It's even worse than it looks on first glance.
"There is no serious evidence that electoral irregularities robbed Trump of victory on November 3."
Well fuck them then
It's linked!
No. Sadly they’ve been super anti-trump for a few years now.
Bet they got paid to publish that
