Does the Insurrection Act give him the authority to do this? If yes, then he should. He may be the candidate but he is all also president and has an obligation to defend the Constitution from all enemies domestic and foreign. Foreign interference in our elections according to the Democrats, Russia, Russia, cannot be tolerated.

Basically, President Trump is absolutely within his legal rights to do this. The only question is, will he?

IMO - it's heading to this no matter what happens, as the Left are not agreement-capable (they will ignore the SCOTUS/Legislatures when they rule in our favor).
